Lindner Center of HOPE Doctors Acknowledged as Tops in Cincinnati
Mason, OH – December 30, 2009 –
Dallas Auvil, MD, Director of Neuromodulation Services; John Hawkins, MD, Chief of Psychiatry, Paul Keck, MD, President and CEO, and Anne Marie O’Melia, MD, Director of Eating Disorders at Lindner Center of HOPE were listed in Cincinnati Magazine’s Top Doctors 2010.
Doctors Auvil, Hawkins and Keck were included in a list of only 10 doctors in the specialty of psychiatry that made the cut amid the larger list of 571 physicians overall. Dr. O’Melia was acknowledged under pediatric specialties.
Stephen Strakowski, MD, Chairman of the Psychiatry Department at University of Cincinnati and the director of the Brain Imaging Center at Lindner Center of HOPE, was also acknowledged on the list in the specialty of psychiatry.
The list was compiled by surveying 5,297 local physicians in eight counties, including: Hamilton, Warren, Butler, and Clermont in Ohio; Boone, Campbell, and Kenton in Kentucky; and Dearborn in Indiana. The survey simply asked who they would turn to if “you, a family member, or a friend needed medical attention.” The only provision was to refrain from nominating themselves.
